The several 3D software packages you mentioned, I gather you were saying each is free. Do you know what O Ss each runs on? (BRL-CAD appears to be Unix.) Is there a widely accepted standard for 3D files?

Great to see that you are already using the Blog. We can add comments on any Blog page. Like this one is for Monday so you could have added your comment to 0605 - maybe the date is a little confusing - we use yyyymmdd as the date name. But it is easy just to refer to the calendar. Now we can comment on this page without thinking up a "Page Name ?". This facilitates discussions - each person who makes a comment on a blog page just signs after the last paragraph of their comment. - Sola Roof Guy
