Yahoo! I'm going to be getting 21 evacuated solar collector tubes to start my algae farm for biofuel feedstock. I'm thinking of using didymo (rock snot) since it is local to my area. Any experience growing this stuff in an enclosed space in a cold climate? I live in NH, USA.

Hi John, looks like you are going to build something like the MIT algae growning tubes. Growing algae is right out on the bleeding edge of development. I think that one of the problems is that a system like that should be placed inside a greenhouse (best thing would be a Bubble Tech greenhouse so that it can run all year round. Keep us posted on your progress. - Sola Roof Guy
