Tom Riesing

I am a member of the 2005 ZERI (Zero Emissions Research Initiatives http://zeri.org) Certification Training class.

I am one of the founders of Oakhaven Permaculuture Center (http://oakhavenpc.org) in Southwestern Colorado, near Durango, at 8700 feet elevation.

We are in the process of converting a 2,200 sq.ft. commercial greenhouse kit (Agra-Tech North Slope) into something sustainable. We currently get half of our heat using a subterranean heating/cooling system to store heat in the floor of the greenhouse. We are exploring how we can make use of George Chan's Integrated Farming system to put all five kingdoms to work in the greenhouse and adjacent ponds and gardens.

Tom, I am very glad to see you here. I almost made it into the ZERI training in Durango but had a scheduling conflict. I am very interested in permaculture and ZERI's work and see much potential to coordinate with my own work. You can see some of that here at Self Help Corp. Let me know if I can be of assistance.
