I see that posting from the log frontpage directly opens a logpage for today's date. That is great!

I went back to your Profiles page and I see that the author window is gone and there is now a link to "today", which also has the title. I suppose the title could be a longer discriptive phrase. This is looking great!

This is a page edit to see the difference. When I did not sign the above the annoymous appeared by default.

However, this page edit requires me to sign.
